Briefly...

I am a SAH/WAH mother of 4 children.  My children range in age from 14 years old to 1 year old.  My family is my number one priority and I am still trying to find a way to make it all work!  I have "lived many lifetimes" and seem to start my life over every few years.  This web site is an attempt to connect with other people in similar situations and to share helpful information.

I've held many jobs in my life ( almost 40 years of life)...among other jobs I've been a political organizer and activist, a waitress, retail associate, administrative assistant, office manager, security officer, corrections officer, and most recently, the executive director of a program that worked with convicted felons.  When the program was closed due to relocation, my son was 6 months old.  It was at that time that my husband and I decided to sacrifice two incomes so that I could care for my family.  I do miss my lunch breaks and days off but being a mommy is the most rewarding and important job I could ever have.
